In the true sense no strategy can be applied to blackjack as the counting of the cards in the deck is not possible because the dealer shuffles the cards before each deal. So the entire game of blackjack is based on luck. If your luck is favorable you get the desired cards and win otherwise you lose. In online blackjack the procedure has been made a little more complicated as the rule has been introduced that the game will not be played with one deck of cards but two decks will be used and the decks will be shuffled before each deal.

This makes the counting of the cards in the deck very difficult as it is difficult to guess how many cards have been dealt from the first deck and how many were left behind. So the best strategy you can apply is to total up the value of cards in your hand and compare it with the visible cards of the dealer.
